Our bowties come in three sizes which each cover a range of neck measurements:

Boys - neck size: 10.5 to 14 in.
Standard - neck size: 14.5 to 17 in.
Large - neck size: 16.5 to 20 in.

When the bows are tied the Standard and Boys sizes measure approx. 3 in. long by 2-3/4 in. at the widest part of the bow. The Large size is about 3-1/4 in long by 3 in. at it's widest.

These are the most formal of our bowties. They are made of textured Dupioni Silk in jewel tones. Dupioni silk comes from a special process using the cocoon of two silk worms that have nested together.

The double strand is not separated during spinning so the yarn has an irregular diameter producing a "raw" texture that enhances the beauty of bright colors. The colors will surprise you, setting off your formal suit and, at second glance, shimmering with hidden color.

This collection should come with the sound of waves crashing and a slight salty breeze. These bright bold designs in brushed micro fiber look stunning against a colored shirt and add a dash of fun to any formal attire. Later, when they are untied their sumptuous texture invites a caress.

Micro fiber was first sold in 1989 and is the thinnest, finest of all man-made fibers. It is finer than the most delicate silk. As an added bonus, micro fiber ties are water resistant and very quick to dry.

The Bali collection of ties was inspired by the ancient Indonesian art of batik tulis. This method of drawing patterns in wax on fine woven cotton was practiced as a form of meditation by the female courtiers of Central Java. Some of the finest batik cloth in the world is still made there. The designs produced now often incorporate ancient patterns with bright colors and a modern playfulness. Our Bali ties are made from high quality cotton and include some of our most colorful and enjoyable designs, which make them perfect for daily wear.
